Your princess is here. The fairy tale begins now. Once upon a time there was tale with huge expectations. The night was average and the beer was cold. She is an amazing pinball player. Maybe this is a fairy tale.

Treat
Its almost in your grasps. Reach for the sky partner. Follow the words of our childhood sheriff.
Close your eyes and cover your gasp. You lose one but you’ll find another copartner. Troubles can be hard just remember your a true seraph.
Green Lake
He shares himself with the water. Purity and light to the touch as silk. His curly hair in the green light reminds him of seaweed. Mint and whisky swish around his mouth as he goes back for seconds. Reflection takes shape as greed. Greed lake and beware of her relentless pull.
Time
Look at him walking across the floor- tangled in his own web. Emails ring with the news of first steps- stepping all over the now. Rockets shooting in the air and light blue smoke falls into the earth.
Walking these eggshells from bees to birds. Parking parallel to our once beloved four-seater. Take lots of pictures of Winter Wonderland, you only get one.
Doves flying perpendicular to the dozen cans racing against pavement. This bed is cold, his family comes to visit twice a week in my weakened state. They gather around, red roses and all, to pay respect to the once tangled web.
Compromise
Common ground and a two way street are on opposite sides of the world. If your in the wrong place start in the underworld.
Baking a pie to feed your most wanted. The scraps are in the trash and it’s like I’m haunted.
They gather around to watch you open your presents under the tree. I can still hear her scream that malevolent banshee.
Her eyes flicker under the raising sun on a Sunday morning. Gather around the cross and weep and your not alone in this rainy mourning.
Left, Right hook
Out of breath and unable to stand. Pressure and anxiety are finally getting to you.
Working through everything and it continues to get the best of you. Shakes side to side, near impossible to catch him making a mistake.
Bide your time, stalk like a predator, hold the left for the opening. Don’t wait for permission, he does what he wants without.
Down for the count and gasping for air. This a critical moment, stand or quit, this is a critical moment.
Third Chances
They were young. One foolish and the other unable to commit. Disaster is behind every door just waiting for the bell to ring. Ding.
Still young, yet, developing, maturing into something new. The other still the same face with a new poision. She’ll ruin you kid. Your supposed to suck the posion out. Kid? Kid!
Maturity sure is a swift kick in the ass. Colder, stronger, and lost the sweet edge that made the other come around in the first time. Ready, commitment doesn’t seem that scary anymore now that your a team of two. It works now. Immune to the poison and burning down the doors before they reveal. Braver and open to something new, something strong, something they can create together and be proud of. The future is now.
Recess
They play, they fall, they cry, they play. Endless chain of the young. Checkers of life just wanting to be kinged. Not realizing jumping here will start the waterfall, only the king matters. Wisdom from the board flutters away with wings into the subconscious. Nothing matters but being a king. I am a King
Blink Twice
It is not pretty and it will never be the way you imagined it so close your eyes. Return the key and enjoy the view from our first floor loft
Moon Man
They can’t spy me from down there. Eyesight is twenty twenty. Squint and you can catch a glimpse. The shooting star of your dreams. They are your dreams.
Moon is made of cheese. Lies we use to tell ourselves. Space cheese would have been an excellent pallet. I’ll settle for this. The mediocre Earth cheese.
The patience to be great. Mediocrity won’t get you far. Maybe to the nice house down the street. Yet never to the stars. Where the greats rest their eyes.
