words flowin’ like a faucet

now this truth has never been true at all
just a story i lived
just fiction you read
just a movie you said

seeking peace
dear noisy,

this quiet shelter we built
doesn’t have time for your bad breath
so find another house to blow down
just another static wolf
seeking lost
and found in humble forest.

ignoring our neighbors,
seeing- but not listening
now they see the burning

it’s always been on fire

trouble shooting worldwide
they never handed out tour guides
but they should
come and save it if you could
up to no-good
losing memories like my childhood
now we livin’ bedside
sippin’ tea, horrified.
i know what took you
it’s the same poison
hurricane
demon
that lives in me
departed and took you
i wish i could have been there
to duo that beast.
find me again,

we saw it:
cross over the moon
bleeding dune
two shots and your out too,
just another color spectrum
close your eyes and they’ll still select
us; they said they’re mature
after we endured
and we were reassured
it was their bag secured-

learned something new experienced something different saw something
unique
he might still walk and breathe the same
the tree you walk past everyday

but a new leaf sprouted
founded
on yesterday

the boxed prison:
passed down and down
the one you’ve seen in books
long ago
didn’t believe it existed
yet here it is;
still around
i know you are there
and i see you
this hurts
everything
everyone’s pain
shattered glass
through a weakened heart;
only so long
before the world

what will be left
to call
home
