trigger warning;
i remember the burning-
the smell of blood
keeps my stomach turning
nightmares swarming,
only peace we crave is at the bottom of a bottle.
Writing, Ideas, & Stories
trigger warning;
i remember the burning-
the smell of blood
keeps my stomach turning
nightmares swarming,
only peace we crave is at the bottom of a bottle.
it’s the care in your eyes;
behind the mystery
behind the walls
behind what you want everyone to see-
to see dark,
there is a song-
you sing with your eyes
a song of sorrow and loss
heavenly voice
painting a hellish picture
i knew you were trouble
but i liked it;
red flags blew in the wind
like a dog’s tongue on a road trip
no no i saw them
but i bite my bottom lip
looked at the casino red ceiling
and rolled
i remember the day
you sprouted out of my garden
a little daisy
quiet and free
petals like fire
reaching into the sky
a merry bud
i never,
i always wanted
to want
a better
croissant
it was the last drink
on the menu
a call out
to my last thought;
something so simple
that i’d wager
we don’t think about,
breathing;
i want you
to live
enjoy that drink
while you breathe
when i revisit,
the door is stingy
always fights back
knob two tons
make shift handgun
rips through our memory mansion
never easy
couldn’t face you that day
i remember the day the hour the minute
i remember what you were wearing
i just want
one more time.
to remember everything
before that fire.
please;
let me in
i can’t tell
if you’re real
our fingers touched
without the warmth;
the only way
i know it happened
were the scars
i can only see
in the mirror
i don’t remember
the last time
i felt
heard
molly,
we’ve met before;
i know you don’t remember
it was a wild night-
but i think about you
the gated fence
the old school diner
& the watching naruto until midnight.
molly,
i’d like to visit again,
maybe on a weekend i have off
or at the next festival
just for a few hours
