last day off

last year

a shakey handoff

(at best)

constantly choosing between

life and sleep

haven’t slept in years

when i do;

my dreams were a gothic spinoff

love interest played by wednesday.

black and white lens

for thee ending send-off

all black molotov

(for those who couldn’t be here)

with fireworks

and a rip off.

night out

beat is kicking

your hands are jumping

around my throat

like a choker-

side to side

fingers grinding under my earlobe

“do you wanna get out of here”

i dont remember

where here was

beat is kicking

your hands are jumping

around my coat

miles ahead

side to sife

fingers in my hair

“lets get a slice of pizza”

that

is a great idea

clipped crows

never a dull moment

words all frozen

runnin’ from the moment

never wanted to be your opponent.

but here we are;

windows wide open

fear holding the keys-

back when we were smokin’

loud world at ease- please

such a simple notion

being overseas

copin’ with a potion.

nothing but a busboy

singin’ sad songs on the arroyo

just need to be the best boy

humble forest

seeking peace

dear noisy,

stay away

this quiet shelter we built

doesn’t have time for your bad breath

so find another house to blow down

just another static wolf

seeking lost

and found in humble forest.

dear noisy,

stay away

you’re services

are no longer required.

light kombat

she asked if

i was blinded by the lights;

two k set up in a alley

behind a Wendy

are they, too bright’

when the scripture hit the pen

humanity paused-

those lights

those lights filled a stadium three times the earth

a field for gods to play finger football

& were too puny to even place a bet

so no, thee-

these lights were made for mortals

mortal pain mortal gain

all in the ring
