Writing, Ideas, & Stories
i don’t remember
yesterday, the way i did
yesterday
it’s demon time
breathing fire
above a bar
on a wednesday
morning
it wasn’t the first time
or the second
or the sixth
or the last
it was the time
in my dreams
i could never forget
i saw her
again
at a coffee shop
downtown –
we met
each others gaze
before she met
the inside
of her sunglasses
it
was
a
spacial
experience
if it was meant to be
there wouldn’t be
this
space
between me
and
you
if you could see
all the unsent messages;
you’d think bombs were going off
just need to see you
tonight
on our last;
for just a second
free
i would never hurt you
like they did,
the lie i tell myself
every morning.
it’s easier to pull the knife out
from the front,
that’s why
were so close
to feel the breathe escape
onto your warm lips.
i didn’t mean
for this to be
the end,
but it’s our time
maybe
will find one another
in a different life
they say she’s a pony
she’s my dear;
a bambi on the outside
a trackstar on the inside;
the best at hide and seek
the one that got away so to speak
never one to be phoney
cute as a button, tony tony
lowkey twenty four seven
loki with some dunks, confession
we’re obsessed with giving everything a name
let’s be obsessed with what we made
