Diana

Believe in the moon we worship

on Bay Hill wishing to be a mountain.

Tumbling down the rabbit hole

the place we used to call home

where the moon came down from her castle

to feast with her subjects

or ex lovers.

Kissing at the top of the hill before

the sun will show his face and

cast her to the side-

us to the side.

Octagon Window

Chance on the one

the two blows in the breeze

staring through the

first window.

Foggy night

foggy window

fogged up the night

we met.

I can’t look anymore.

I left the city for your dessert.

Deserted the same night

our flight took off

on this dream.

Goodnight, i’ll dream

for a new window.

Trainer Orange Ep. 32

“Let me hear it  for your winner, Max!”

The crowd, livid with Max chants and excitement for their psychic trainer. Tyler and Daisy already left their seats to meet Vanessa at her tunnel. Max waved with his white gloves to the crowd until the tunnels darkness removed him.

Franklin ran from the repetitive chants to empty corridors, cold and abusive. Decorated walls of past champions, the most recent, Vanessa smiling with her prized Pokemon Egg. Corridor ended, greeting the tunnel entrance, to find Daisy standing behind Tyler watching Vanessa. She was engaged in a one-sided chat with the same old man who spoke with Julie and met Vanessa at her cabin. The old man had the same to henchmen he had with him at the cabin, yet, more determined and battle struck.

The old man raised his voice, “…reason you got their in the first place. Just remember that next time.

“There won’t be a next time,” Vanessa sputtered.

The old man rose his eyes, “I know, we are done here. Your lucky this tournament is all you lost.” The old man lowered his eyes and met Franklin’s again.

“You’ll remember this next time you cross Team Rocket.”

Trainer Orange Ep. 31

“Voltorb is down! Voltrob is down! Max tales the lead,” the announcer shouted, igniting the Max chants through the crowd.

Vanessa recalled the idle Voltorb and stared at the ball.

“What happened to sis? I’ve never seen her battle like that,” Tyler said.

Franklin watched Vanessa staring at her remaining Pokemon.

“Yeah, she used to have a Voltorb, I know she could have won that round,” Daisy said.

‘Max, Max, Max!’

Vanessa released her second Pokemon, “A Pikachu! That’s a Vanessa classic!”

“Max second Pokemon is a Natu!”

“A Natu! Pikachu has a big type advantage against Natu,” Tyler shouted.

Vanessa watched Natu flap side to side, tuning into the Max chants, flaring fanatics blackened by Bulk berry sized lights. Natu’s small body flapped violently along the wind stream of the water arena. Pikachu stood on the edge of the body, watching the flying, purple Pokemon.

“Begin!”

“Go Natu, charge with Peck,” Natu charged the yellow mouse and jabbed, sending Pikachu across the water.

“What is sis doing. She could have taken out that Natu with one attack right there,” Daisy protested.

Vanessa withdrew, watching Pikachu idle around the icy pond.

Dillian

The timeline is shattered.

You were supposed to ask Susy.
Not Dillian, Dillian?

Nobody even likes Dillian,
but she is going with him

because you didn’t show
the courage. Dillian?

That guy? Your better than Dillian.
It’s cool. All we gotta do is

make Dillian disappear.
Yeah yeah it’ll be easy,

just a slip down the stairs.
Slip Lax into his lunch

can’t go if he’s shitting
his brains out. Or.

Or I’ll kidnap him
Yeah it’ll be easy, steal mom’s

car, pick him up, dump
him at the lake.

Fuck Dillian.
Susy doesn’t even like

Dillian. I’ll just go
with her sister. Get her

pregnant and get back at
her that way. Take Dillian

eh? Fuck Dillian.
Can’t go if I drowned him.

Oh shit it’s seven o’clock
Mom? Can we go now?

Trainer Orange Ep. 30

Trainers flooded the entrance.

“Martain! Hey, dad?” Franklin scurried through the crowds.

“Hey, Franklin we can’t look for much longer. Our matches are gonna start soon,” Vanessa reminded.

Franklin’s paniced expression warped into determination.

“Ladies and Gentlemen!” The crowd erupts to the voice of the play by play analyst.

“Round thirty-two’s will begin! After today we will have eight remaining!”

“First match of the day, our defending champ, our electric lady, Vanessa!”

Vanessa graced steps echoed the crowds roars as the spotlight followed her light work.

“Her opponent, you know him well, the mind-reader, Max!”

The max chant stormed the stadium like a lighting storm.

“Wow a rematch of last year’s finals,” Daisy whispered. “Get him big sis!”

Max white boots clacked along the stadium floor, his long white scarf dangled to his heels, and his usual showsmanship, floated three Pokeballs above his fingers.

The referee didn’t say a word and lifted his hand, the signal.

Max moved first, “It’s an Exeggcute!”

Exeggcute was a peach Pokemon, six peach eggs with different expressions and eye movement.

Vanessa returned serve, “Ah a Voltorb!”

Voltorb, looked like a Pokeball. Top red and bottom white with a large grin and sharp eyes.

“And the battle is on its way!”

The Road Less Traveled

the high road they called it.

Speaking theory and false

idols they called it.

Beseeched a cast off to the

watery bin marked Wilson.
Ruling side by side on an island.
Heavenly winds cross along

their finger tips. Cool waves

gently brush against their timid

hides. Ooh paradise tasted like

Margarita’s.
Until the waves ran dry. The wind’s

blades cut like a guillotine.
Window showers pass the road

only to find themselves on

an island.
